What is a Crusher?

Crusher, also known as stone crusher. It is a crushing machine used in the processing of metallic ore and non-metallic ore, which can crush the mined raw ore into small particles by extrusion and bending. It refers to the crushing machine in which the content of the particle size greater than 3 mm in the discharge accounts for more than 50% of the total discharge.

Crushing operations are often divided into coarse crushing, medium crushing and fine crushing according to the size of the feeding and discharging particles.

Commonly used crushing machines include jaw crusher, gyratory crusher, cone crusher, roll crusher, hammer crusher and impact crusher.
